Police launch festive road safety campaign

The Police and District Policing Partnership in the Antrim Police Command Area would like to wish all motorists a happy and enjoyable Christmas and remind then to act responsibly when on the roads.

Our advice to motorists is:

• If you are going to have a drink leave the car at home.

• Arrange transport in advance of your night out so you don't have to consider driving.

• Make sure your friends don't drink and drive.

• After the night before remember you may have alcohol still in your system above the legal limit so don’t drive.

• Keep your speed down and be wary of road conditions.
