Police launch festive road safety campaign
The Police and District Policing Partnership in the Antrim Police Command Area would like to wish all motorists a happy and enjoyable Christmas and remind then to act responsibly when on the roads.Our advice to motorists is:
If you are going to have a drink leave the car at home.
Arrange transport in advance of your night out so you don't have to consider driving.
Make sure your friends don't drink and drive.
After the night before remember you may have alcohol still in your system above the legal limit so dont drive.
Keep your speed down and be wary of road conditions.
